This Department Head position is responsible for identifying and enrolling new Members. The Membership Manager nurtures relationships with existing Members so that they will invite their friends and colleagues to the club (resulting in “Membership by Invitation”). In addition, they will assist with the coordination of and attend activities with Members and their guests to demonstrate “Pride in Belonging.”
The Membership Manager develops relationships in the community through Chamber and Business affiliations, identifies and attends Trade Shows conducive to sales as well as setting appointments to meet face to face with prospects within the community. S/He ensures the enrollment process is complete and records Membership profile information. S/He is responsible for setting and achieving the Club’s Membership sales goals.
In addition, S/He generates a definitive sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals as well as tracks activity to determine effective outcome. The Membership Manager is an advocate and ambassador of the Feather Sound Country Club Service and understands the critical role that Membership development and exceeding expectations play in regards to the success of the operation.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Qualifications and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
Must have a demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and a working knowledge of social media best practices (YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, etc.). Must also have strong research skills to analyze demographics and conduct comparative market analysis.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salary plus commission position.
